The Cameron Lady Dragons captured third place at the Cameron Invitational with a 62-46 victory over St. Joseph Central Friday night.
CHS improves to 14-3 with the victory.
The Lady Dragons took a 9-2 lead early and led 18-11 at the end of the first period and 31-21 at the half.
Cameron increased their lead to 15 points early in the second half and maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the game.
Ashli Lykins led the scoring for Cameron with 19 points. Anna Curtis had 14. Melia Richardson scored nine points. Azalee Morgan added eight. Taylor Hamilton put in five points. Brooke Lee scored three points and Brenna Lobb and Maizey Hughes scored two points each.
Brady Rodney led Central with 12 points and Caytlin Francis added ten.
The Lady Dragons are back in action Monday when they host Benton in an MEC match up.
